What I am observing is that when Miracast receiver (Microsoft Connect App) is launched it activates one Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter and runs properly. So now it has 2 Wi-Fi adapters and both adapters are capable to run Miracast or Wi-Fi AP individually, but not together. I am trying to configure my windows10 laptop as 'Wi-Fi Access Point' (Hotspot) and 'Miracast Receiver' (Wireless Display) at same time.Īs both of these features runs on Wi-Fi Direct concept by creating a 'Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter', so I plugged-in one external Wi-Fi Adpater in my laptop which already has one in-built Wi-Fi adapter.
